Fax
Broadcast Software Installation & Setup
Please
follow these instructions to install and test your
account. The software will give you full control over
your faxing needs. From any PC running Windows
and through any Internet connection, you can:
- Upload
- Monitor
- Resend
- Pull
reports on your fax broadcast
If
you have a dial-up Internet connection, you will have
to make the connection to your provider to upload the
faxes into our systems. If your office network has an Internet
connection, you will be connected to us automatically.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
This is an example sheet you should have received
with your software. The information provide should
have your Userid:, Password and Server Address. You
should have also received a CD or should have downloaded the software
from our Website. If you are missing any of these,
please call us at 813-961-7776. Your sheet will be
as follows:

This user account has been setup exclusively for
Yourself. The user assigned the name and password
show above is responsible for keeping the information
secure. The
user will be held responsible for all faxes sent under
this account name and will be charged according to
the user’s normal fax rate. The user must provide a dated
written notice to World Fax Services, Inc. in order
to discontinue this account and any charges that would
be applied to the account. By setting up a remote fax
account the user agrees to abide by all terms and conditions.

Insert CD into your computer.

Close all other
programs that may be running.
-
Open the My Computer
icon and double click on your CD icon.
-
Find the file named
“World fax broadcast client setup.exe”
and double click on the name to start the software
installation, the install password is “WF2000”.

Click
on “Next”
-
Then
“Next” again
-
“Next”
a third time
-
Then
click on “Install”.
If an error pops up, click on “OK”.

Click
on “Finished and you will be asked if your
computer can be restarted.
-
Click
on ‘OK” to restart your computer or
cancel to return to Windows.
NOTE: You must restart your computer after the installation
to use the software.

After your computer
restarts, go back to the CD and look for the optional
files, “ExcelImportaddon”, double
click on this file name. Also on the CD look for the file
“CrystalReportsaddon”, and OutLookImportAddOn,
double click on the file name.
After it has been installed, you will be
asked to restart your computer once again.

When your computer
has fully restarted,

Go
to the Start button
-
Click
Programs then look for “WorldFax7.”
-
Choose
“WorldFax Client” to start the
program.
-
After the program
has started, click on “Edit”
in the top menu and choose “Options.”
-
Type in the “Server
Address”, “User” name
and “Password” exactly as shown
in the fax client information sheet that
was sent to you.

Now click on the
“Parameters” tab and enter “360"
in the box for the “Time-out Interval.”

Click on “OK”,
and exit the software.
Your software is now set to connect to our
systems, after you have established a connection
to the Internet.

Connect to your
regular Internet service provider and restart the
fax software.

Click
on “Jobs” and you should see a test
fax listed in the window, after a minute or two.

The CD also contains
the software manuals as MS Word document files,
this same information is available on our Website

check the manuals for fax tips on how to use
the software.

Before sending any live fax,
we strongly suggest sending a trial to yourself,
with the “Send Trial Fax” option on
the last screen of the job setup wizard.
